About Me

I’m Rob Field, a professional visual effects artist living and working in Utah.  RF Animation LLC is a freelance visual effects company I established to better serve my growing clients.  I’m also a member of BluFire Studios.

I’ve currently worked on seventeen films, including everything from Disney to local independent clients. Some of my work appears in a short film selected for the Sundance Film Festival, the Discovery Channel series “Future Weapons”, the History Channel series “UFO Files”, and ABC’s Golden Globe nominated series “Pushing Daisies”.

I am primarily a compositor with job experience in both Nuke and AfterEffects. I am also a matchmover and tracker, currently working in PFTrack, SynthEyes, Monet, and Mocha. I also have years of experience delivering 3D and CGI work in Maya and will frequently choose to render through Cinema4D.

I enjoy delivering quality work to my clients. I typically deliver my work to my clients online using secure web pages and FTP, and can even offer online project management and payment. I strive to do completely professional work, whether you’re local or remote.

This is more than just my livelihood and career, it’s truly a passion! Please feel free to contact me if you need great visual effects for your next project.

Enjoy the show!
